You don’t have to change the world or get on a plane to foreign lands, opportunities will reveal themselves to you.  We need to fix America first but not isolate  or separate our nation from the rest of the world. We do have many of our own neighbors that need our help. But no matter where you are help  is valuable to someone .  Sometimes you don’t even need to leave your house and the opportunity will present itself.

Do you ever wonder why Jesus chose planet Earth to live his bestowal life? Is it because our planet is such a bad example, barbaric, spiritually and morally deprived that he came to this planet to use as an example to  the universe?  That is if you believe there are other inhabited planets out there as I do. Are we the most barbaric, desperate, inhumane and poverty-stricken planet of the universe that was the most in need of saving ?

It is hard for us in the US to imagine those living in the very desperate parts of our planet. But there is no desperation equal to those who are the castaways of our own society. The people we feed in our homeless shelters, the ones that know the curtain has come down on them in tragic depression and poverty. The people that will never receive the attention that many of our own cats and dogs receive. They live their own separate lives, a separate society surrounded by wealth and ambulance they know they will never be part of.

Don’t just satisfy your soul by providing them with a meal but use the meal as a vehicle to attempt  to make a human connection.  Let them know that you are not completely cut off and they have a place in the human race. They are the poor in spirit that feel they no longer belong to the brotherhood of mankind.

Give a man a fish and you provide meal, teach a man to fish and he can provide his own meals.
